It all started back on New Year's Eve 2009 when my friend, piano accordionist, Harriet Bartlett phoned to say she was making a trip to Sheffield for a folkie New Year's party and I was invited along. After a much festivity and a rendition of Auld Lang Syne, plans were underway for the Ba

It has been two months since the last news update and we've had our ups and we've had our downs. September saw Charlie's first Friday Folk Weekend Festival come together beautifully at The Venue in Stocksbridge and raised £332 for the chosen charity the Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind. We had a fun-packed day full of music from our headlining/ supporting performers as well as our regular floor spot guests. Well done to everyone involved for giving their time for free, w
